Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) Responsibilities:
- Assist the pediatric dentist during dental procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments.
- Take digital dental radiographs.
- Perform coronal polishing and other duties permitted by California RDA licensure.
- Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and preventive care.
- Comfort children and help create a positive dental experience.
- Maintain accurate patient records and charting.
- Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with doctors and team members to deliver exceptional patient care.
Qualifications:
- Current California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) License.
- Current CPR/BLS Certification, X-ray Certification.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Friendly, positive attitude with a passion for working with children.
- Bi-lingual a Plus.
- Experience in pediatric dentistry preferred but motivated new RDAs are encouraged to apply.
